Following on from the SOI there could be some new attributes flying around next season. One looks like it could improve coaching chances in a similar way to elite and quality players (although is sure to be watered down if it's a permanent attribute).

Let's here some ideas about possible attributes, positive/negative and joke ones are welcome too.

I'll start you off on another one about coaching...
An attribute which allows a player to pop more than once (and possibly no more than twice) per coaching turn. This could allow the coach to give more cps to the player knowing that the cps after the first pop won't necessarily be wasted and can help to rush a player to maximum pops for the season. Could be a temporary or permanent attribute.

I'm guessing some of the suggestions will be too hard to code, but if R and R like what you've said and it's doable, then you might have your own attribute

Anyone in favor of the Sam Bradford special? The INJURY PRONE negative attribute?

A Versatility trait for allowing offensive linemen to play out of position with no or reduced penalties. This switching of offensive line positions does happens in the NFL so it has a realism factor. It could also be used for safeties and cornerbacks potentially.

Actually think both of these suggestions make for good attributes. Certainly would make you think twice if you were drafting a L9 elite who was injury prone...

I am in favor of more attributes as it gives more variety and personality to the players which is both fun and realistic.

I like all these ideas, especially the versatility idea on O-lineman. I would expand a little on the "injury prone" idea.

GCAA players who sustain a major injury (F,G) in college can carry an "injury concern" attribute to the pro level. As they play through their younger years (age 0-1 or 2) if they sustain an injury they have the chance to advance to an "injury prone" player who becomes more likely to be injured. If they go a couple seasons without taking an injury then the "injury concern" attribute drops off.

We'll call it the Sam Bradford/Adrian Peterson rule. Both serious college injuries that turned out to go two different directions at the pro level.

Maybe this is not an attribute and more of a positional experience idea but what about something that identifies a CB as a Nickel-back? Could provide a boost to game level when playing that position vs an outside cornerback position.

Pete, this is a fantastic idea. Maybe a player who reaches a certain age and level combined with playing experience has a slight chance of gaining a “mentor” attribute. Any age 0 or 1 players in the same position group who are coached that week get a slight boost to their chances?
